Today there are 3 major game console brands available. It can be disheartening when a great game comes out for one of the popular consoles, but not all three. The worst is when you are awaiting this game to come out for your system, and it comes out on a different platform. Some games it's almost understandable why they'd be available for the WII, but not adaptable for the X-box 360 or PS3, because their sensors and hand controls.

Sony Playstation and Microsoft's X-Box 360 are always in competition, but they shouldn't battle over the games also. If a new game comes out and onto the market, it should be available for all platforms, not just one or the other. It's ok if the games are not exactly the same, due to different controllers, and different features, but the overall game play, plot, and game interaction can all be the same.

X-men Origins, was one of the hottest games out there for PS3, Xbox 360, and the WII. This game goes for over $60.00. Homes throughout the land are being rocked by guitar hero. This is an ever-popular genre that people of all ages, loves. There is a new Beatles addition that will drag out every wannabe. The new "Need for Speed Shift" will be hitting all the hardcore driving enthusiasts' homes, if it hasn't already.

When buying new video games, it is a good idea to rent the ones you are interested in first. With game prices well over fifty dollars on many products, you should make sure the game is good before you go and buy it. Some of the things to watch out for when renting a game you are interested in are difficulty level. If you pass through a bunch of levels in the short time you are renting a game, chances are you are going to blaze through the whole thing in a short period of time.

On the other hand, if you can't at least master the controller's basics after a rental period, it's going to be hard when you buy it. Some may find this a good challenge, while other players get frustrated easily. This also gives you a chance to get a feel for a game before you buy it, and not for just the few minutes at the game store. There are some games you know before buying if you are going to like it. If you like first person shooter games, you know you're not going to want some sports game. But how do you know if you are really going to like Halo if you've never played it? Is it going to be similar to some war epic like Men of Honor? You get the idea.

When you decide that purchasing your next video games is right for you, consider trying online websites, and dealers to get lower prices. As you are aware there are many online websites, and retailers excited to take your money. Even though most games are retailed between $50 and $60.00 you may be surprised to find them cheaper through these online retailers. - 29872
