Why Jason Continues To Satisfy Women In Scary Films

By Sexton Lynch

Jason Voorhees is back with a vengeance in the remake of Friday the 13th and this famous slasher flick will tantalize your thirst for blood. After witnessing his mother's beheading at Camp Crystal Lake, Jason goes lunatic some thirty years later.

The movie picks up thirty years later and apparently Jason's been stewing on revenge for his mother's beheading. His murderous rampage focuses on an unfortunate group of young friends that come to vacation on the legendary and beautiful Camp Crystal Lake.

But beauty is only skin deep as the woods begin to take on an eerie tone as Jason's lunatic mind goes crazy on the innocent group and like a serial predator, he picks his prey one by one, as they succumb to his razor sharp machete.

Producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form were challenged in the casting of this movie because they needed thirteen young actors as opposed to the five that were in Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Fuller and Form had to continually cast and recast to find the best group of young actors that worked well together. It was more challenging than they thought, and this process was too close for comfort, as they literally did not have their group established until the very start of the film.

The challenge of thirteen young actors that could simply get along together took its toll on the producers. It was more difficult than they had expected and they did not have a group established until literally the beginning of the film.

The rest of the team did a great job as well and that includes Nana Visitor, Julianna Guill, Jonathan Sadowski, Van Winkle, Danielle Panabaker, America Olivo, Aaron Yoo, and Richard Burgi who plays a great sheriff.

Be sure to put this slasher flick on your list of Halloween movies to see. You're sure to get all the suspense, thrill and blood and guts to wet your appetite this season. It's a Friday the 13th you won't want to miss. - 29872
